| About us Itsmy Motorsport is a web site created by rally and race fans to help others with an interest in the sport. We are also a trading company called Itsmy Limited Company. The trading company provides a variety of facilities such as personal and team embroidery, sublimation printing and personalised products. Our personal interests include marshalling, rally driving, co-driving and servicing. We also attend various rally and circuit events as spectators and photographers. If any of this has taught us one thing it's 'Where do we find what's on, where is it and how to get there?' Why make the web site? Following the old RAC showed how poorly prepared we were for clothing, fuel and food. Finding the stages was difficult as the programmes were not available in time for good planning. The web didn't exist so we had to use previous data which was at best poor. This prompted us to make sketches we could use to locate stages from the routes we took (and places we got lost in). This continued to date, as we OS data, multimap etc. can't be copied without licence. In fact the sketches we had were easier for us to use. Especially when a stage is called something which bears no relationship to the location. What we have now is a collection of sketches turned into images which will prompt you to the location of a stage. Please note once you have the primary location then you should use OS data, multimap or road atlas to work out route, scale and time. Event listing? The organiser of an event wants teams and drivers. Why are events cancelled through lack of entries? Motor Club web sites range from brilliantly up to date to can't be bothered and even no site at all. A few have a separate site for club and event which helps when you can download the regs., contact for marshalling or arrange your spectator location. Web sites take time, commitment and money so we understand the difficulties and hope our site will help the clubs, events, teams, marshals and spectators alike. List your event We have limited the events listed and may over time include other items. We have omitted Road Rallies and Hill-climbs although we may list if asked often enough. If you wish to have an event listed which fits in with what is already there please contact us at Its My Motorsport. We will be pleased to list circuit racing and stage rallies. We will consider other events although please don't be offended if we refuse. Links We have duplicated all links within the web site onto the links page. If you have a non-trade link you wish to be listed and prepared to use one of our banners for a link back please contact us at Its My Motorsport. We will consider links where we feel they help others with motor sport. Accuracy All data (dates, times. locations) has been cross-checked with a number of sources. We can only work with the accuracy level of the data found. We will not accept liability for errors or omissions on our part or that of the sources. We make a comment on most pages that 'The information on these pages cannot be guaranteed for accuracy and intended as a guide only. Please ensure you check with event websites and organisers before travelling. We cannot stress enough how much you should check the data. Things are getting better for marshals bit by bit although registration is starting to limit numbers. Drivers, co-drivers, organisers and others associated with motor sport have slowly begun to appreciate your existence and the motives for doing a difficult role.
