| LYDDEN Most famous for rallycross as 'seen on TV'. There's a lot
more to the circuit but many people shy away due to its location on the South East coast. You can rest assured that the
fantastic action seen in rally-cross permeates through to the single seaters and saloons. |

VIEWING -
Famed for Rallycross but sees equal fun with saloons and single seaters on track. At only one mile in length it
keeps the racing tight on the undulating circuit. Racing is clockwise.
CANTERBURY STRAIGHT Holds the star/finish line which is very close to the first corner.
No stands but good viewing on outfield.
PILGRIMS and CHESSONS DRIFT Immediately after the start line cars take a slight fast left which becomes a long circular
right through these two corners. Pilgrims is an incline and then decline after the apex.
Excellent viewing of cars trying to get position on entry to Pilgrims. Viewing from outfield quite close to track. Good camera point.
DOVER SLOPE Long downhill section with drivers accelerating to the next tight corner.
Excellent viewing over the whole circuit. Even though vehicles pass at speed the view afforded means no slower action is lost.
DEVILS ELBOW A tight right hander from downhill gradient to uphill exit requiring maintenance of speed for the next straight.
Best viewed from Dover Slope.
NORTH BEND A roller-coaster corner this time uphill to a tight right and then steep incline on exit.
Viewing from outfield, which is high enough to get a good view over the rest of the circuit. With the speed tailing off it's a
good camera point.
HAIRY HILL As the name suggests it's speed all the way down the slope for the easy right hander below.
Best viewed from the opposite side of the circuit.
PADDOCK BEND Final right curve onto Canterbury Straight. Cars do use a little of the exit kerb to maintain speed.
Dover Slope and North Bend are the best viewing points.
ACCESS -
The main entrance feeds into the paddock which is on the outfield of Hairy Hill. Paddock access is free
for current meetings with toilets cafe and bar. |
