OULTON PARK is a superb circuit for all fans. What makes Oulton special is the close and varied racing, with spectators getting near to most of the action. The speeds achievable on the straights have caused more chicanes to be added over the years, together with tightening of corners. Even so there appears to be no way to reduce the thrills available from high-speed and overtaking opportunities. There are three layouts, the Fosters, Island and International. Each provides excellent racing whether single seater, Touring cars or Superbikes. For close up viewing Lodge Corner, Deer Leap and Old Hall are superb. The best view of the circuit is either infield near Dentons or outfield near Knickerbrook.
