ALL INFORMATION PROVISIONAL

The Rally GB 2006 is with us again but with a new date of December. Back to probable wet weather and the massively uncertain surface conditions causing problems of tyre choice which makes the Rally GB one of the most challening in the calendar. For this year Margam Country Park is not used. Big changes will take place next year as the WRC calendar alters to a Summer, not Winter break. Distance is approximately 350km over the three days, with Shakedown on Thursday. Please check with the event organisers and the official rally website before making your travel arrangements.

What to note.
Firstly, each forest stage runs twice on the same day to reduce spectator movement and increase your viewing opportunities.
Secondly, this is the final round of the WRC, J-WRC and the BRC which is fantastic for the inclusion of the majority of international and doemstic rally stars competing in 2006.
Thirdly, service stays at the purpose built facility at Felindre, Swansea. If you want to see every driver and co-driver for an autography then an early start at Felindre means you can catch them as they wait to walk into Parc Ferme..
Fourthly, the Cardiff Super Special runs Saturday evening in the Millennium Stadium.
Rally_GB_ wales_map With three major championships running and Super Rally rules, this years Rally GB could be the most exciting yet. Have fun, watch your speed, stay safe and check times and stages officially before travelling.

SPEED CAMERAS - South Wales Police enforce speed limits more vigorously during the event. Static and particularly mobile units are placed at strategic points along the rally route at ALL TIMES of the day and night. Leave plenty of time for travel and observe your speed at all times. If you don't the Police will !
