2008 Another Rally GB passes and news of the 2008 event is awaited. The details on this page show the information for 2007 to give you an idea of what will be available for later this year. 2007 Wales Rally GB is with us again with its annual date of late November/early December. With the incredible wet weather of Summer behind us let us hope the changeable autumn/winter season doesn't provide two seasons in one day. The only positive about the changeable weather is it makes the Rally GB the toughest on the WRC calendar with tyre choice critical. The same stages as 2006, although Trawscoed will be run in reverse. The final days stages of Legs 1 and 2 will run in darkness to try and give back a little spirit of Network Q/Lombard days. Service moves from Felindre to the newly developing Marina at Swansea SA1. Refuelling is based at a new location on each of the three days and the start/finish moves to outside the Law Courts, Cardiff. Distance is approximately 350km over the three days, with Shakedown on Thursday. Please check with the event organisers and the official rally website before making your travel arrangements. What to note. Firstly, each forest stage runs twice on the same day to reduce spectator movement and increase your viewing opportunities. Secondly, this is the final round of the WRC and the BRC which is fantastic for the inclusion of the majority of international and doemstic rally stars competing in 2007. Thirdly, service moves to a new purpose built facility at SA1 Marina, Swansea. If you want to see every driver and co-driver for an autograph then an early start at SA1 means you can catch them as they wait to walk into Parc Ferme. Fourthly, the Cardiff Super Special runs Saturday evening in the Millennium Stadium. With two major championships running and Super Rally rules, this years Rally GB will be as exciting as 2006.
